The Operations Lead will perform key daily tasks in Brundo Spice Company’s operations and support ops at sister company Cafe Colucci. We’re a small and mighty team & the plan is for this role to grow as our company grows.
The Operations Lead will play a key role in planning processes for Brundo’s expansion, in terms of inventory, production & farmer’s markets management.
Skills and Experience:
-Love for food and culture
-Knowledge of local and national restaurant scenes, co-ops and specialty CPG
-Understanding of inventory management and workflow systems
-Knowledge of computer skills and systems including Amazon, Shopify, Easypost, and Google Office Suite
-Able to prioritize projects independently
-Farmer’s Market experience
-California driver’s license

Primary Goals
-Play a key role in the management of fulfillment and procurement. From securing the items at the source to individual fulfillment. Creating a workflow managing all incoming orders at Brundo Spice Company.
-Support operations at Cafe Colucci, helping source materials as well as cover gaps in scheduling when needed.
-Designing production workflows at Brundo Spice Company, as well as managing potential new onboards
-Supporting and protecting Brundo Spice Company’s stake in Cafe Colucci.
Responsibilities
1. Procurement and Fulfillment. Overseeing the supply and fulfillment operations of Brundo Spice Company
a. Procurement – Managing and keeping track of product & packaging inventory within our Oakland HQ, by way of weekly reports and product manifest lists. Organizing information in a way that it may be relayed to our facility in Modjo, Ethiopia to ensure our supply chain is unaffected.
b. Fulfillment - Overseeing the daily orders and customer details at Brundo.com. Ensuring orders are being received and fulfilled, ideally within 24-48 hours.
c. Inventory/Supplies - Maintaining all supplies at Brundo HQ, picking up and purchasing supplies when needed.
2. Supporting Cafe Colucci's management team:
a. Operations - Working with management staff to assist with daily operations.
b. Sales Knowledge - Create and standardize information for Cafe Colucci employees to ensure they can describe and sell Brundo Products.
